A Call For Change:PSL Rules Need An Overhaul

Image
The current state of football in South Africa is concerning, with the practice of buying status in the PSL undermining the integrity of the sport. When teams work hard to qualify for the Premier Soccer League (PSL) only to be potentially displaced by wealthier clubs buying their way out of relagation, It's a  clear indication that the rules need to change.  The PSL should prioritize fair competition over financial muscle. Teams that earn their spot in the PSL through hardwork and determination should be allowed to reap the benefits of their efforts. Buying status not only demoralizes the teams that have worked hard to qualify but also affects the fans who have supported them throughout their journey.  It's time for the PSL to consider their rules and ensure that the league is decided on merit rather than financial might.By doing so,they can promote fair competition, protect the interests of smaller teams ,and uphold the integrity of the sport.

Meet Peter Chiveso, the visionary behind Pretoria Athletic Football Academy, which he's been leading for the past decade. It all started when his son's passion for football ,sparked by watching Supersport 3, convinced Peter that his boy had potential. Recognizing the need for proper training, Peter enrolled his son in various academies around Pretoria. Daniel FC's passionate and dedicated young fans

It's heartwarming to see young players from Daniel's FC, based in Thaba Tshwane Military Base ,showing such passion and dedication to football. The fact that they attended their senior team's match against KP5 Academy and were impressed by the result. The story of the under -11 Coach scoring the only goal of the match adds an exciting element to the game, and it's wonderful to see the impact that grassroots football can have on young players lives. By supporting and advocating for grassroots football, you are not only providing a positive outlet for these young players but also offering them opportunities for a brighter future.  Big up to Daniel's fc and all the teams in the Laudium LFA and beyond for their efforts in nurturing young talent and providing game time for these aspiring football stars !

Doku the skilful winger #Empire FC

Today I witnessed an exciting match between Empire FC and Delfos Yellow. With Empire Fc dominating the game 5-1. Empire FC's physicality and skills seemed to give them an edge ,especially with Doku's impressive performance, scoring two goals and providing two assits .His connection to Jeremy Doku, a Manchester City player from Ghana ,adds an interesting dynamic.  Delfos Yellow struggled to break through Empire FC's defense after conceding the first goal.Despite efforts, they couldn't capitalize on their chances except for a consolation goal scored from a throw-in that led to an own goal.
